Over the course of many years, RDL has built a vast and diverse serum bank and repository that features numerous serum samples catalogued by unique autoantibodies. Our in-house system is designed to identify, retrieve, and even combine rare analyte profiles in order to maximize the best search results. In addition, we have an extensive number of serum samples characterized clinically by disease, as diagnosed by board-certified physicians.
We focus primarily on sera that relate to autoimmune and rheumatic disease disorders such as Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scleroderma, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Vasculitis and Sjogren’s, just to name a few. Searches for diagnoses with specific autoimmune antibody presence can be performed upon request.
All of our samples are stored in -80c freezers and aliquoted into multiple tubes in order to mitigate freeze/thaw cycles. Our freezers are regularly serviced and backed by emergency generators to preserve the integrity of each sample.
